Volcanic Capital Corp. (“Volcanic”) is pleased to announce that on September 12, 2008 Rock Lefrancois was appointed to the Board of Directors of Volcanic.  Rock Lefrancois, of Longueuil, Quebec, brings management, public company and geology
experience to Volcanic.  Mr. Lefrancois has worked in the mineral exploration industry for over 20 years and has served as senior geologist of Strateco Resources,  Aur Resources, and Cambior.

Since April 2005, Mr. Lefrancois has acted as Vice President of Niogold Mining Corp. Mr. Lefrancois obtained a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Geology from Concordia University in 1987 as well a degree in Science in 1981 from College Jean-de-Brebeuf.  

Mr. Lefrancois is a Professional Geologist registered with the Ordre des Géologues du Québec (OGQ) and will act as the “qualified person” for the Company in accordance with National Instrument 43-101.
