Volcanic Capital Corp. (the “Company”) announces that Karl Antonius has resigned as a director of the Company.  In addition, Shawn Perger has resigned as Vice-President, Operations of the Company.  The Company wishes them the best in their future endeavors.

The Company has appointed Gary Freeman as a director of the Company in place of Karl Antonius.  Mr. Freeman has over 25 years experience in finance and marketing with a specialty in reorganizing companies.  He has been the President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Pediment Gold Corp. since March 2005, a director of Becker Gold Mines since June 2007, President of Ethos Capital Corp. since October 2007 and a director of Pan Caribbean Minerals Inc. since August 2008.

The Company has appointed Jason Scharfe as the Vice President of the Company.  During the past twelve years Mr. Scharfe has served as a Vice President, Senior Vice President and is now a Managing Director of Marsh Canada Limited, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, an NYSE listed company. Mr. Scharfe obtained a Diploma in Financial Management from British Columbia Institute of Technology in Burnaby, British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics Degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Board of Directors of the Company is now composed of Michael Iverson, Rock Pierre LeFrancois, Bryan Slusarchuk and Gary Freeman.

The officers of the Company consist of Michael Iverson as President, Chief Executive Officer and Secretary, Allan Stronach as Chief Financial Officer and Jason Scharfe as Vice President.
